Ok, so I have tried this… and I have tried that… to get people to follow my blog.  I know I am practically the WORLD’S worst blogger, but come on… give me a chance… start following my blog.  I made a New Years resolution to blog more… Yea, that convinced you… didn’t it? So there is this girl I know.  She’s really cool.  She’s got a really rad style, beautiful eyes, awesome kids, a really amazing sense of self.  She has an open heart, an amazing spirit, and an unbelievably wonderful soul.  Maybe I want to be her when I grow up… ha ha.  I know, I am already grown, but really… you might want to be her too if you met her.

Anne-Michelle of Addison Park Photography, and I have been friends for a little over 5 years now.  We met through a pregnancy forum when we were both pregnant,  When I met her online, I already knew that I would like her… The first time I met her in person was at a mommy meet up group.  We just clicked… Ever since then, even though our lives and their busyness keeps us apart, I know she’s always just a phone call away.  And, no matter how much physical time we spend apart, the minute we are together, its just like its supposed to be….like no time has passed at all, and we can pick up just where we left off.

Do you have friends like that? I have a handful of friends like that… And I love and cherish each very much.  As I get older, I sometimes realize how lucky I am in the friends department.  Without my friends my life would be a lot less fulfilling….

After talking about it for-EVAH, we finally made it happen! Yesterday, we went to downtown Riverside and had some fun with our cameras.  Have fun with these images, and for more great pictures, please see my portfolio, @ ‘Ella B Photography.

When I say I love me some baby, you have no idea how literally you should take that.  Amongst my friends, I am notoriously known as a baby stealer… Jokingly of course, but I will almost ALWAYS ask to take a new baby home! Its just everything about a baby that twitterpates my ovaries… Sigh… their tiny feet, the way the skin wrinkles just about everywhere… the smell…

Little Miss N was born early Christmas morning.  We were scheduled to meet when she was just four days new, but Mother Nature was not on our side.  These images were taken on her eleventh day.

We decided to stay indoors, although the skies were clear, it was still more than a bit chilly for this little girl.  I was a little nervous to shoot indoors, I am still not 100% comfortable with indoor lighting, but thanks to my hubby & my gal pal over @ B. Kengle Photography, I had some new toys to play with.  {<3}

I just love the dreaminess of the series.

And, my very favorite for last… This is a pose I have ‘seen’ done a lot, and I just love how sweet a baby pose it is.  I have tried… And tried, and tried.  This is the closest that I have come to getting it right, and if only I could get the elbows up just a bit more… well… I don’t know.  I don’t really care, this shot just melts me.  I love her face…!!

I Heart Faces- Self Portraits

If you follow my fan page at all, you know I for some reason LOVE self portraits… I find the most interesting places to do it, too… school bathrooms, random bumpers, etc… anyway, here’s my entry for the I Heart Faces challenge.  Taken in my bad ass rental car, a Chrysler 300 while driving up north somewhere.  The man in the driver seat is my honey.  Thanks for taking a look, and make sure you take a peek at all the great entries by clicking the button at the bottom of this post.
