Have a little...

A few weeks ago, I "liked" an AMAZING page on Facebook, called FStop Frenzy... and I am so excited for this weeks photography challenge... the ladies over @ FStop asked for entries related to hope.  And the winner this week is the recipient of one on one mentoring with Morgan Kervin! Ah-mazing.  If I win, it couldn't come at a better time.  If you are a fan on Facebook, you know things are currently undergoing changes...  Anyway, I digress...

Hope... its so important, but as an adult, I feel like sometimes I hope only when I need to... When I look at my baby, dancing in the sun... That inspires hope... The hope that the world will be an okay place for him when he is all grown, hope that some of the innocence of his childhood will stay intact, hope that he will be this happy for his whole life.  That's a lot of hope...

I hope this image makes you smile.

(Oh, and if you are wondering, this was processed with a beautiful freebie from Pure Photoshop Actions... )

Such a great image! I processed it with a free action {magical sunset} from the wonderful CoffeeShop Blog.  Mom's idea, she wanted the score board in the shot.  I thought it would be cool to add a score! Congrats class of 2012!

Inspired from a recent pin on Pinterest! Have you heard of Pinterest? If not, hurry over and start being  inspired..!!

This picture is just what I saw it to be... again, I pinned a similar idea on Pinterest, and tweaked it.  Love the result.

Christie and Hayden, thank you for asking me out to take your senior pictures.  I had a lot of fun!

got tattoo?

I know this really awesome girl, who happens to be an amazing artist, who also happens to be a bad ass tattooist! Her name is Julie, and she is the owner of Another Twilight Fantasy in Riverside, CA.  Julie has tattooed me several times- I can't see myself going anywhere else.  I love her work so much, I had my mom, my little brother and my little sister get tattooed by her!

I was super stoked when Julie asked me to help her out on a project that she is working on... She is putting together a book of her art.  She sent me her models and I did what I could to represent.

Julie told me she hates to have her picture taken... I can understand, its not my favorite either.  I think I managed some awesome shots of her- and I hope she approves of them.

Michelle, I LOOOOOVE the color!

Thank you, Julie, for inviting me to be a part of something that means so much to you... Thank you to all the participants!! You were all cool and fun to shoot, and I am glad to have made your acquaintance.  I can't wait to see the finished product!

just a little

So, with Father's Day right around the corner, I thought I should make a little freebie up.  I decided to do seahorses just for the simple fact that a male seahorse is the "the only animal in which the male has babies!"  The female seahorse deposits the eggs into the male's sac, and leaves... Pretty cool fact if you didn't know it already.

Funny, my littlest J. has a thing for seahorses! In fact, I am getting one soon ... as part of my 1/4 sleeve.

Included in this mini freebie set are files for a mini patterned banner, 5" circles for a "Happy Dad's Day" banner, 2-5" decor circles, 3-2" decor circles, treat labels and water labels.  If you use these at all, I would love to see pictures!

Anyway, in honor of all the kick ass dad's out there, enjoy this freebie!

a {sweet}

You know I have never been the kind of girl who is into fairy tales and princesses... The Royal Wedding (my apologies Harry and... uhm..I want to say Camille, but I am sure that isn't right... what IS her name?... anyway, my point is to apologize, I mean no disrespect)...BUT, I honestly could give two shakes about the Royal Wedding... is that bad? Un-American? I am sure some of you might feel the same way... ;) In saying I don't give two shakes, please know that it doesn't mean that I won't at least check out highlights and previews..... and enjoy a bit of history in the making...

Unlike myself, my {sweet} friend, Nicole is the EXACT opposite...! We chatted for a bit last night, and last I heard she was making muffins for a 3AM viewing party! (Hope you had fun, girl!) A few days ago, Nicole came up with the idea of having a royally inspired shoot... Using the adorable free printables from the TomKat Studio, and supplemented with a few designs from yours truly, Nicole designed an adorable tablescape fit for her princess and my prince.

If you are thinking about having a little royal fun yourself, please feel free to click the image below to download my contribution in PDF format...

And, if you are here just for the pictures (like me!), well then here we go...

They say you have to kiss a lot of frogs to find your prince charming...

I love this addition to the tablescape, its so fitting! I am totally going to have this one printed and frame it for my daughter's nightstand.

I only have a small peek of our royal table...
Super cute cupcake toppers, right?? (Don't forget to click over to the TomKat Studio to grab yours... don't say I didn't warn you, almost eeevvveerrryyything there is super TO DIE FOR... )

The {sweet} couple

For more {sweet} details, or to order your own beautiful little bride a dress fairy tales are made from, be sure to visit Nicole's blog and shop!

This shoot is what 'Ella B is about... what I am about... It all starts with an idea.  I love brainstorming.  Special thanks to Nicole for having me out again, I always love working with you.

Happy weekend!
